✓ First choose the appropriate comb according to your hair type:
- Fine comb:
for hair types I to IV on the L'Oréal scale* (straight to wavy).
- Intermediate comb:
for type V hair on the L'Oréal scale* (curly hair).
- Coarse comb:
for Types VI & VII on the L'Oréal* scale (very curly to afro).
✓ Please note that some looks (S Waves, pleated hair styles...) require comb removal.
✓ Fill the built-in water tank with deionized water.
✓ Using normal tap water could result in product malfunction.
✓ Please note that the SteamPod still works when the water tank is empty, but for best results, the water tank must be filled before use.
✓ Then turn on the tool and set the appropriate temperature according to your hair texture:
- 180°C for fine, sensitive hair (dyed or bleached) ?
- 200-210°C for thick, natural hair.
✓ For extra security, place the heat protection shells in the curl lock guide before straightening.
✓ Make sure the arrows point down when styling the hair.

No special precautions are required for the use of this product under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use.

Last step after using SteamPod.
The wavy look is easier than ever with the SteamPod, thanks to the new rotating cable.
Always comb your hair first and section it.
For natural waves, place a thin strand between the plates and wrap it around the tool.
Then rotate the tool (the arrows on the device point towards the ends of the hair).
Let the hair cool for a few minutes before combing or opening the strands for a completely natural result.

With SteamPod 3.0, you'll have a professional result in just a few minutes.
For a quick boost of volume, focus on the hairline & top of the head.
Part the hair into sections.
Take a tuft and slide the SteamPod outwards, at an angle of at least 90°, to lift the roots (the more vertical you start the motion, the more volume you'll give the hair).
Swap directions, for a hair dryer-like effect.
