MIXING
Always mix in a 1:1 ratio, eg 60ml paint + 60ml Oil Developer.
For painting in a darker tone, pastel effect, use Oil Developer 3% 10vol.
For color in the same tone, covering whites, 1-2 tones lighter, use Oil Developer 6% 20vol.
For 2-3 tons of opening, use Oil Developer 9% 30vol.
APPLICATION
Apply IGORA Skin Protection Cream to protect the hairline and wear gloves.
Apply to dry, unwashed hair.
For first application on natural hair, apply first to lengths and ends. After 10-15 minutes, apply to the roots.
For subsequent applications, apply to roots first. After 15-30 minutes, continue on the lengths and ends.
WAITING TIME
30-45 minutes.
Up to 30 minutes, for use with Oil Developer 3% 10vol.
30-45 minutes, to be used with Oil Developer 6% 20vol.

WASHING
Emulsify and rinse thoroughly.
Wash hair and condition with FIBREPLEX or BC Bonacure ph 4.5 Color Freeze.

What is the IGORA ROYAL numbering system?
To keep things simple and create a system that’s super-effective and easy to use, ours is based on a combination of up to 3 numbers. The number in front of the dash (5-) indicates the depth of the shade, tells you the ideal base to choose in order to achieve true-to-tuft results. The first number after the dash represents the primary tone direction (the dominant shade). The second number after the dash indicates the secondary tone direction (the secondary colour).
Has the capacity of IGORA ROYAL tube changed?
No, the tube capacity remains the same (60ml), but we are using a more sustainable packaging material. The tube is now made of 100% recycled aluminium, saving 350 tonnes of new virgin aluminium per year.
