Apply to clean, fresh hair.

Dry hair with a towel (pigments won't bond to your hair if it's really wet).
Apply freely.
Use a wide-toothed comb like the Detangler comb for even distribution.
The longer you leave the treatment on your hair, the greater its effect.
Rinse well with lukewarm water.
On "baby hair" apply at the last stage, as they are more porous + absorb more.

We recommend the shade closest to your color treated hair for a touch up between professional color services.
If hair is highlighted or porous, a trial is recommended.
Do I need to use conditioner before applying the treatment?
Not required.
If detangling is needed, Clean Beauty Color Protect Conditioner can be applied to hair and rinsed out before applying the Color Depositing Treatment to wet hair.
Can I use the Color Depositing Treatment with my other Clean Beauty favorites?
Yes. Clean Beauty Color Protect Shampoo and Conditioner is the ideal choice, but all Clean Beauty products are color safe and can be used with the treatment.
How often should I use the Color Depositing Treatment?
The less the better! Based on the frequency of washing, suggest using the Color Depositing Treatment weekly or monthly.
Regular use will gradually increase color results.
How long can I expect the effects of the treatment to last on the hair?
Depends on their overall condition, frequency of washing, exposure to the environment and/or use of a hot tool.
This product is not recommended as a standalone color product or for use on excessively light or very porous hair. Do not apply to dry hair.
Will Color Depositing Treatment stain hands, clothes or skin?
Yes, it can stain. We recommend wearing gloves, careful application, use of dark towels and immediate cleaning of surfaces.
Can I accelerate color fading if I am not satisfied with the result?
Normal and regular washing will fade the color over time.
